PRLog (Press Release)Apr 12, 2011 – Millions of non-English speakers now have access to PC Health Advisor, the all-in-one PC utility. Developed by ParetoLogic, the software combines some of the company’s top technology, to stop system errors, improve performance, and remove malware. All these features are now fully accessible in a total of 10 languages.

French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, and, of course, the original English round out PC Health Advisor’s supported languages. The additional dialects add dozens of countries and at least two continents to PC Health Advisor’s user base.

“The fact is, too many software developers make assumptions about their users and their preferred language,” said Barry Dodd, VP Business Operations at ParetoLogic. “We know that there are millions of non-English Windows users that need a solution to improve their PC, and we’re happy to provide that solution.”

Each element within the PC Health Advisor application was painstaking translated and reviewed for accuracy. Along with the program itself, product pages, shopping cart pages, and customer support were all created anew in each language.

“Due to the minor shifts in connotations, tone, and mood, translating these items required the utmost in care. We designed PC Health Advisor to make computer maintenance as easy as possible – these languages remove even more barriers between users and improving their PCs,” said Dodd.

The translated PC Health Advisor product information can be viewed by selecting the preferred language via a drop down menu on the PC Health Advisor product page. From the translated pages, users can download the software in the appropriate language.

PRLog (Press Release)Apr 08, 2011 – For the third consecutive year, ParetoLogic has placed on the Branham300, the definitive ranking of Canada’s IT sector. The Victoria software company improved their standings across the board, claiming awards in three competitive categories.  Last year saw new product launches from ParetoLogic and new developments in malware research, to which company founders attribute their growth.

ParetoLogic Branham300 Rankings:

•   Top 10 IT Security Companies: 3

•   Top 25 Software Companies: 11

•   Top 250 Canadian ICT Companies: 65

“2010 was a very active year for ParetoLogic,” said Adrian Pereira, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of ParetoLogic. “We released our all-in-one application, PC Health Advisor, which our customers have really embraced. We also continued to make advancements in the fields of online security and optimization.”

PC Health Advisor, launched in the spring of 2010, did much to define ParetoLogic’s growth over the past year. The all-in-one software utility combines some of ParetoLogic’s most successful security and utility products, and was ParetoLogic’s standout success of 2010 and into 2011. At the same time, ParetoLogic’s Spyware Analysis Team (SWAT) made significant inroads in the world of malware research.

PC Health Advisor was a big part of our success in 2010, but it is not the only reason for our appearance on the Branham300,” said Pereira. “By systematically identifying and targeting new malware variants, our SWAT team has helped us make a name for ourselves in the security world. Not only do our customers benefit from our research, but the security industry as a whole benefits through our research sharing projects.”

ParetoLogic users benefit from the company’s research through regular program updates, and through integration with online scanning tools such as Virus Total. Industry professionals can get direct access to malware samples through the ParetoLogic URL Clearing House.
